Teen Therapy
Being a teenager can be tough and sometimes overwhelming. But what if your teenager is having a more significant struggle with mental health right now? If you are getting that gut feeling that they need more support, you’re in the right place.
Therapy provides your teen the support and tools they need to feel better. When your teenager is going through a tough time you may notice some changes.
Maybe they’ve been feeling down, getting easily annoyed, or withdrawing from things they used to enjoy. Schoolwork has become more challenging, or they’re having trouble sleeping or eating. These are signs that it's time to seek some extra support.
Therapy is a safe space where your teen can open up and talk to someone who helps them feel understood. You can work with one of our therapists to choose what type of therapy works best for you and your family. At Well Culture Counseling we offer:
Talk Therapy
Having honest conversations with a trained therapist can help your teen grow. We're here to listen, help explore their feelings, and give them some strategies to deal with what they're going through.
Activity Therapy
Sometimes it’s hard to get everything out in words. Your teen may benefit from expressing themself through art, music, or drama. This type of therapy encourages creativity and uses activities to understand and process emotions.
Group Therapy
It helps to know that you're not alone. In group therapy, your teen will connect with other teens who are facing similar challenges. They can share their experiences, learn from each other, and build some supportive relationships along the way.
Geek Therapy
Therapy with one of our Geek Therapists can help your teen feel more understood. We incorporate your teens interests, like video games, movies, anime, and comics, into the therapeutic process. We help them explore their emotions through the things they love.
