Licensed Professional Counselor

We are looking to hire a Licensed Professional Counselor with the goal of growing from part-time to full-time. The ideal candidate will be able to work well alone and with other staff, be willing to market themselves to get clients, have experience working with clients in the justice system and/or with substance use histories.
This position will start with a minimum 10-hour per week commitment and grow to up to 30-hours per week of client hours, marketing tasks, and scheduled meetings. The clinician will be working with clients on federal probation as well as clients in the community.
Responsibilities
Conduct psychological evaluations, combined psychological and substance abuse evaluations, individual therapy, and couples/family therapy (if trained).
Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
Collaborate with healthcare teams for effective discharge planning and continuity of care.
Participate in marketing events to find clients in the community.
Attend weekly meetings.
Maintain a working relationship with probation officers.
The position requires a minimum of one evening per week (ending at 7PM), and a schedule will be created based on client demand, clinician availability, and office space availability.
We offer a furnished office, stocked break room, electronic health record, billing, scheduling, and help with marketing. This position requires the clinician to be in the Denton, TX office. Pay is determined by experience and qualifications.
